This Fluoride Reduction Cartridge, when used with the Atla/AquaLiv Water System and Purification Expansion Kit, doubles the fluoride reduction capacity of the system.

FluorGon™ media is an amalgamation of hydroxyapatite, calcium carbonate, and carbon and will not leach toxic aluminum into water like Activated Alumina fluoride reduction cartridges.

A KDF-55 pre-treatment stage in this cartridge scavenges chlorine in the water before it reaches the FluorGon™ media. As chlorine outcompetes fluoride, this increases effectiveness.
