Filter Change Frequency
Filter changes are recommended every 1000 gallons or one year, whichever comes first.
Purification performance drops rapidly after one year, and most contaminants are odorless and tasteless. Don't wait until your water tastes bad; that means you've been drinking contaminants for a long time already.
Plus, the filters add magnesium and keep your water alkaline. The magnesium is all consumed within a year.

We Aim to Keep Filter Prices Low
When our water system launched in 2009, replacement filters were $99 with free shipping.
According to the US Inflation Calculator, a product that cost $99 in 2009 will cost $148.34 in 2025.
However, in 2009, we didn't offer a $20 discount to customers who replaced their filters annually.
As a result, most of our customers today pay 19% less for replacement filters than they did when our water system launched in 2009.
Plus, these aren't the cheap filters our competitors use. Each Atla filter set contains over 4 pounds of filtration media and lasts 1 year, unlike other filters that last only 6 months.
